Black Music Scholar and Ethnomusicologist, Joe Zavaan Johnson presents a multi-media lecture and performance that may challenge your assumptions about Old Time, Bluegrass and Country Music.

Very few can be lauded as expert in deep heritage music history and Joe, a Ph.D in Ethnomusicology, is one of them whose passion for the deeply cherished banjo has brought his presentation to top Universities, Forums and music academy's across the globe to high acclaim.
