2026 Racers!

DAISY
She may look sweet, but don't let those puppy-dog eyes fool you Daisy loves to burn rubber! 🏁🔥
This little speedster is back to defend her title after leaving the competition in the dust last year. And if being the fastest pup on wheels wasn't enough, Daisy just leveled up she's a big sister now to a brand new human baby! 🍼
Whether she's zooming in her wheels or striking a pose for the crowd, Daisy's got her eyes on the prize and she is not slowing down for anyone.
💛 Think anyone can catch her this year?
Go Go Gidget
You might recognize Gidget from last year's race and if you do, you know she brings the energy.
This happy-go-lucky girl lives for the outdoors parks, hiking trails, camping trips. If there's an adventure to be had, Gidget is already at the door waiting.
Her road to her forever home was worth every bit of the wait. After traveling from Utah to Dog Town Rescue, her family spotted her on social media, survived a couple months of hoping, and a weekend visit that quickly turned permanent.
Last year Gidget didn't take home the fastest title but she DID raise the most money and she's back this year to do both. 🐾
⚡ Think Gidget can go even faster this year?

Holly
Meet Holly, the 3-year-old lab mix who never got the memo that life was supposed to slow her down.
Paralyzed from her mid-back down since she was a pup, Holly doesn't know any other life and she doesn't need to. She plays, fetches, runs and loves just as hard as any four-legged dog out there. Scooting is simply how she rolls.
Rescued by Scoot to the Stars and adopted into her forever home in September 2025, this 34 lb fireball (complete with a tutu diaper that absolutely elevates the look) is here to race, charm the crowd and raise money for a cause worth rolling for.
🌟 Think Holly's got what it takes to scoot her way to the top?
Rugby
A familiar face from a previous racer!!! This is Rugby's 3rd year at Wag N' Wheels! This gentle giant is ready to put his long legs to work again and chase the title of fastest dog on wheels 🐕💨
Rugby stole hearts at last year’s Wag N’ Wheels and found his forever home at the event! Now, he’s back with a new leash on life and a story that’ll make you tear up in the best way.
💛 Think Rugby has what it takes to win this year’s race?

Link
Meet Link, Nils' best friend, a certified king and quite possibly the most loved dog in the room.
From humble beginnings as the firstborn pup of rescued mama Olive in Kings Beach, CA, Link's journey to his forever home had a couple of chapters but the final one landed him exactly where he was meant to be. With his dad Nils by his side, Link's days are filled with strolls in the park, couch cuddles, and a food bowl that never disappoints.
Everyone who meets Link loves him. That's just the rule. 👑
💛 Can the king of cuddles also claim the crown on the track?
Watson
One look at Watson's wild, scruffy hair and you already know he's got personality for days.
Rescued from a Fresno shelter at just 2-3 months old, Watson came to Animal Rescue Relay with compressed discs in his spine but you'd never know it watching him go. Determined, eccentric, and absolutely refusing to be left out, he keeps up with every dog around him without hesitation.
At home, he's got his brother Benny by his side who knows exactly what it's like to figure out life on two legs. Follow their adventures at @benny_two_legz. 🐾
With physical therapy underway and zero quit in him, Watson is ready to roll. Can the scrappy underdog take the top spot? ⚡

Indy
Meet Indy a senior girl who has lived a full, wonderful life and isn't done yet. 🇺🇸
Her joints may have slowed her down, but her wheels? Those give her the freedom to keep socializing, keep moving, and keep showing up and that smile says it all. Indy's wheelchair isn't a limitation, it's her ticket to the party.
New to the race this year, Indy is rolling in with all the heart of a seasoned champion.
💛 Can this patriotic girl wheel her way to victory in her debut race?
